GETTING STARTED

Getting started

Choose a Callable Labs API, try a demo and connect through RapidAPI or ApyHub.

1. Find the capability you need

Browse the API catalog for a task such as generating an invoice, reading a PDF or looking up country holidays. Each product page describes its inputs, outputs and limitations.

2. Explore the demo

Demos do not require an account. Use the supplied sample or your own small, non-sensitive input. The anonymous allowance is 10 light and 2 heavy dispatched attempts each day, shared across products and reset at 00:00 UTC. Shared networks can share limits, and global capacity is bounded.

Demo uploads are limited to 2 MiB, images to 4 megapixels, and speech to 15 seconds. These are website demo limits; the marketplace listing describes production limits. If live execution is being prepared or temporarily paused, documentation and illustrative examples remain available.

3. Subscribe through an available marketplace

Choose RapidAPI or ApyHub on the product page. Availability can differ by capability, and ApyHub may offer separate listings for related operations. Subscribe to the listing containing the exact endpoint you need.

4. Copy a working request

Open the product’s quickstart and select your marketplace. Set its credentials in server environment variables. File examples show how to send bytes; binary response examples save a file instead of parsing JSON.

Keep production keys on your server. The website does not need your marketplace key. Browser apps should call their own server rather than exposing a secret in client code.

5. Build the failure path too

Validate inputs before dispatch, inspect status and Content-Type, and show useful errors. Use bounded retries for temporary failures; avoid retrying invalid inputs or exhausted allowances. Calls and retries may consume your marketplace allowance.
